Card Solitaire

Card Solitaire is a classic online game that requires players to strategically arrange cards in the right order to win. The objective of the game is to get rid of all the cards by placing them in their designated spots at the top of the screen. Here's everything you need to know about the game to play and master it successfully.

To start the game, a deck of 52 cards is shuffled and dealt face-down into seven piles. The first pile consists of one card, the second pile has two cards with one card face-up, the third pile has three cards with one card face-up, and so on. The remaining cards form the draw pile.

The top card of each pile is always face-up, while the rest are face-down. Your goal is to build four foundation piles, one for each suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades), in ascending order starting with the Ace and ending with the King.

To achieve this, you can move cards from one pile to another according to the following rules:

1. You can move any face-up card from one pile to another, provided the card being moved is one rank lower and of the opposite color. For example, a red 7 (hearts or diamonds) can be placed on a black 8 (clubs or spades).

2. You can move a sequence of cards, either in descending order and alternating colors, or a King followed by a sequence in descending order and alternating colors. For instance, a red Queen can be placed on a black King, followed by a black Jack, and so on.

3. When a face-down card becomes exposed by moving the cards above it, it automatically flips face-up and becomes available for play.

4. If a pile becomes empty, you can move any King (or a sequence starting with a King) to that empty spot.

5. If you have no moves left, you can draw a card from the draw pile. However, you can only go through the draw pile once. Once all the cards from the draw pile have been used, you can no longer draw cards.

Remember, the game requires careful planning and strategy. While it may seem impossible at times, there is always a solution for every card combination. Some tips to enhance your gameplay include:

1. Always prioritize uncovering face-down cards, as they offer more opportunities for moves.

2. Try to create empty piles strategically, as they become valuable spots to temporarily store cards and create new sequences.

3. Be cautious when moving cards to the foundation piles, as once placed, they cannot be moved back.

4. Analyze the possible consequences of each move before making it, as a wrong move may lead to a dead end.

5. Practice patience and perseverance, as some games may require multiple attempts to achieve success.
