Mahjong – Classic Tile-Matching Puzzle

Mahjong is a relaxing single-player puzzle where the goal is to remove every tile from the board by finding matching pairs. The rules are easy to learn, but clearing the entire layout requires attention and careful planning.

Only free tiles can be selected. A tile is considered free when it is not covered by another tile and has an open side on either the left or right. Each successful pair disappears from the board and can reveal new tiles underneath.

Think Before You Match

The most obvious pair is not always the best move. Try to remove tiles that open the largest number of new possibilities. Tiles buried under several layers or trapped between other tiles should usually get priority.

When several identical tiles are available, look at what each possible pair will uncover before making your choice. Planning ahead can prevent situations where the remaining tiles become impossible to match.

Clear All 144 Tiles

The board contains 144 Mahjong tiles arranged in layers. Your objective is to remove all 72 pairs before time runs out. If you cannot spot the next move, use a hint and continue searching for a path through the layout.

Mahjong combines simple matching rules with strategy, observation and memory. Every move changes the board, so take a moment to look ahead and find the best pair.

Instructions

Match pairs of identical free tiles to remove them from the board. A tile is free when nothing covers it and at least one of its sides — left or right — is open.

Your goal is to clear all 144 tiles before the timer runs out. Try to choose pairs that uncover new tiles instead of removing the first available match you see.

If you get stuck, use the hint button to find an available pair. Plan several moves ahead to avoid leaving blocked tiles at the end of the game.
